Alabama CPA Directory is an independent, free directory of every licensed CPA and accounting firm in Alabama — built to make finding a qualified accountant simple.

Why this exists

This site started with a frustration. As an entrepreneur, I found it surprisingly hard to find a good CPA — the information was scattered, out of date, or locked behind clunky government search tools. So, as an online creator, I did what I usually do when something's missing: I built it myself.

The result is a directory that pulls from public Alabama licensing records and organizes them the way someone actually looking for a CPA would want — by city, by firm, and searchable by name or license number. Every listing here represents an active, state-issued license.

Who's behind it

I'm Brooks Conkle — an entrepreneur and online creator based in Alabama. You can learn more about me and my other projects at brooksconkle.com.

How it stays free

Browsing and searching the directory is free and always will be. CPAs and firms can optionally pay to upgrade their listing — adding a photo, bio, specialties, and contact details — which keeps the lights on and the data current. There's no charge to be listed, and no pay-to-rank games with the core directory.

A note on accuracy

This is an independent directory and is not affiliated with the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
